The Cayman Islands, are a British Overseas Territory located in the western Caribbean Sea, known for their stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life. The territory consists of three islands: Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac, and Little Cayman. Grand Cayman is famous for Seven Mile Beach, Stingray City, and plenty of dive sites.

USS Kittiwake
The USS Kittiwake is a former US Navy submarine rescue vessel (ASR-13), purposely sunk in 2011 in 15 to 20 meters of water off the coast of Grand Cayman.
I was ecstatic to dive this wreck, having already booked the dive weeks in advance. Unfortunately, the weather wasnt cooperative, and a last-minute itinerary change led the tour to a coral dive. All hope wasnt lost, though. During the reef dive, a stunning manta ray gracefully swam off in the distance. Watching carefully, we could see the Manta efforlessy swim in a giant cirlce around us, twice. It was a beautiful experience.
I suppose I have a good excuse to go back to the Cayman Islands to dive the Kittiwake, right?
