In 2021, my Sister invited me on a last-minute trip to Greece with about two weeks of notice! I’m so happy I obliged, cause it was the time of my life!
This was still during Covid-times, and it was at the sweet spot before tons of strict regulations were in-place but after the point that people were outwardly rebelling. As such, there were minimal travelers, leaving most of the beauty relatively secluded.
The whole travel experience was uniquely intimate. People were conscious of social distancing, giving you the space to take in the experience in a way I had never before experienced.
