KCMO - BBQ + Royals

Mid June 2025, me and a group of friends drove down to Kansas City for some BBQ and a Royals MLB baseball game before heading back to Omaha for dinner.

All in all, a Saturday extremely well spent!

Joe’s BBQ

We stopped in at Joe’s BBQ for lunch, then headed over to Kauffman stadium for the Royals game.

The line at Joe’s went out the front door, down the side of the building and wrapped the corner. We spent around 45 minutes conversing before getting a table and placing an order. Totally worth it!

Tip: Try the Z-Man with Texas toast.

We arrived at the stadium an hour before the first pitch so we could walk around in the gorgeous weather and explore all there is to see.

The Royals didn’t score any runs, but the ambiance was wonderful and time with friends rejuvenating!

Back in Omaha, we had a pizza dinner then walked around downtown to finish off the evening!
