PickpocketPermalink
On the morning of the Cruise, I packed my bags and made my way from my hotel to the train. Once the train arrived near the cruise terminal, I made my exit and starting carrying my bags up the stairs to the main street.
A few people got near me and acted like they would help carrying my bags up the stairs but I declined their help. Once I got to the top of the stairs, someone pointed to my pocket and said ‘telefono’ repeatedly.
The people gesturing to help with my bags had actually reached into my pocket and nabbed my phone. They were pros. I felt nothing.
A slight hiccup, and a ton of lost photos, but definitely not the focus of the trip. There was still so much to do and see!
