Early September 2025, I joined a couple friends to hike the Mailbox Peak trail in the Snoqualmie National Forest, located in King County Washington.
We hiked the ‘Old’ trail on the way up and the ‘New’ trail on the way down.
The old trail is a little over two miles but boasts an elevation gain right about 4,000 ft. It is practically a steep, uneven staircase for over two miles. Yeah, you’re thinking right, it was brutal but so much fun!
10/10, would do again! Adventure is out there! (I’m loving Washington!)
